What to bring to your debt review.
You do not need all of it for the first call. A rough list of what you owe is enough to start.
- A list of each debt: who you owe, the balance, the interest rate, and the monthly payment. Recent statements help.
- Your current mortgage statement: balance, rate, and maturity date.
- Your latest property tax bill.
- Proof of income: two recent pay stubs and a job letter. If you are self-employed, your last two years of T1 Generals and Notices of Assessment.
- Any amount you owe to the CRA.
- Government photo ID.
